Not gonna lie. This is a complete rip off of Bill Simmons and his podcast with Cousin Sal. I also think it’s a good exercise to see where I perceive each team compared to my buddy and to Vegas.
I just type up the games from an app that doesn’t show the lines and give my best guess of what the line will be. I’m not trying to get the line right. I’m saying what I would make the line if I were a bookmaker.
Without further adieu, here are my guesses, my friends guesses, and the current MyBookie line as of 10:30pm est Sunday night.
As you can see, I think that Bucs line is super inflated. I did lock in Chicago +13 even with the -120 juice. That’s just too many points. Don’t care if Brady and the Bucs have a few extra days to prepare.
