This question was asked in the comments section here. Yeah, I’m the weird-o answering random internet questions in my spare time. I like fantasy football way too much.
Derrius Guice (RB – Was) vs. DET
Michael Gallup (WR – Dal) @ NE
Tyrell Williams (WR – Oak) @ NYJ
Joe Mixon (RB – Cin) vs. PIT
Avoid Guice. Adrian Peterson, Chris Thompson, and Wendell Smallwood are all competing for touches in this offense. An offense that is bad. Dwayne Haskins has shown no reason to be trusted to lead an offense or produce numbers. Washington had scored 3 points entering the 4th quarter this past Sunday against the Jets…. I repeat, the Jets. The week prior they mustered a stout 3 FG and 0 TD’s in Buffalo. This offense is bad… although I guess you could get some garbage time production. No thanks.
Gallup is intriguing as Dak Prescott is the best QB in the world, I guess. Seriously, has any QB been as confusing as Dak? That dude goes from MVP-candidate to Should this guy be a starter? faster than anyone I can remember. I think the biggest knock is that Dallas has to go to New England. The Pats D is not something to mess with, but Gallup has impressed me this year.
Tyrell Williams is always one big pass play away from having a nice statistical day and the Raiders as a team is looking good. Combine that with the matchup and I think you have yourself a nice flex right here.
Joe Mixon has performed in each of his previous three games, stats-wise. But, I just feel like he could rattle off a 12-carry, 32-yard game with one or two catches and zero touchdowns at any time. The Bengals are bad. Ryan Finley isn’t the savior. And now you welcome Pittsburgh into Paul Brown Stadium. Seems like a recipe for disappointment for Mixon owners (Disclaimer: I own him on multiple teams and I hope he scores 7 TD’s Sunday. *sigh*)
The pick: Tyrell Williams
